Heads Up Wisconsin

Friday, December 29, 2006

We finished the electric football short "Super Bowl XXXI MVP" for the Packers, and they are airing it tomorrow at 11:00 on FOX...in Wisconsin. If any of our peeps in 'Sconsin are out there make sure to check it out. It's on a weekly show for Packers called G-TV. For those of you who are not Packer fans, G-TV brings viewers an insider's perspective of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field. Throughout the 2006 season, G-TV gives Packers fans a glimpse into the world of professional football.

Co-hosts Iris Riis and Derek Wenino, with the help of their production crew, bring viewers close to the action with "behind the scenes" features and more player and personnel interviews.

G-TV is a 30-minute weekly program geared toward young Packers fans but with content designed to appeal to all ages. G-TV gives a fresh look at football and takes the viewer away from the football field to see what goes on inside the organization.

For the rest of us who don't follow the Pack we'll post up the finished spot soon.

The Harvatines are in CT right now visiting family and friends, but that doesn't mean Make Out City Studios is on vacation. Liz made me this great Unbreakables hooded sweatshirt for Christmas, which looks amazing. Notice the sweet picture to the left.

The Unbreakable logo is printed on the front, with the actual "Unbreakables" font printed on the back. If you see me wearing this now, feel free to come by and ask to have your picture taken with it. I know I would.

I think that we'll be making more, so if anyone is interested in this once in a lifetime opportunity, let us know.

Also, for your viewing enjoyment, here is video from Twisted Sister's new hit CD, "A Twisted Christmas". For those of you who haven't picked it up yet, what are you waiting for? This could be their last CD!

The video looks like it was done in flash or something like that...but we won't hold that against them.

Holidaze This Weekend

Thursday, December 07, 2006

The holiday special that Liz and I animated on over various weekends this summer is premiering on Saturday. It will be on ABC at 8/7c.

The company that produced it is Bix Pix Entertainment from Chicago, but they moved out to L.A. over the summer and assembled an all-star crew. So make sure you watch it to support stop-motion and the company that put many of our friends to work.

The Pack Is Back

Monday, December 04, 2006

Make Out City Studios is making an electric football recreation of Super Bowl XXXI for the Green Bay Packers. This year is the 10th anniversary of that Super Bowl victory, so the Packers are producing a lot of content from that entire season. We are very excited and honored to work with them on this project, which we started while we were shooting the last football spot we did. I'll post more pictures and behind the scenes stuff soon.
