Watch Me Now

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Make Out City Studios finished the Friday Night Blitz spot and the clients were very happy. But what does that really mean to us? Why should they be the only ones to enjoy it?

We make stop-motion for the people, so here you go people. This is the opening of the Friday Night Blitz football highlight show. Suspense, thrills, and chills included. Hut hut hike!

And just so you know, making them happy acutally means a lot....much more than if this guy likes it.

Watch it NOW!

Must-See Stop-Mo TV!

Wednesday, November 15, 2006

As you may have read here , several of our friends have been working on an animated segment for the NBC sitcom "My Name Is Earl". They did such a fabulous job that the episode has been SUPERSIZED! That's 40 minutes of hilarious, karma-filled Earl, fortified with stop-motion goodness. The episode airs tomorrow (November 16) at 8pm. Watch it!

Moral Orel Premiere

Monday, November 13, 2006

Last night was the premiere of Moral Orel season 2, I hope everyone out there was able to set their VCR's or whatever you set these days to record the show. For those who were brave enough to stay up past 9:30 on a school night, the new episode "God's Image" was well worth it.

The next episode is November 20th, at 12:15 am.

Later this week I'll post pictures from the premiere party, as well as the Friday Night Blitz spot.

Friday Night Blitz Finished

Monday, November 06, 2006

Liz and I just finished the Friday Night Blitz spot, which we will post up the finished spot soon. It was a ton of fun, and we look forward to working on our next spot which we will talk about later this week.

I'll let you know how our clients feel about it....we are still waiting to hear.

My Name Is Earl

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

Some of our good friends from Robot Chicken have been doing nights and weekends on some stop-motion for NBC's "My Name is Earl". I never got a chance to see their setup, but I did see their puppets and they are amazing. The puppet crew at Robot Chicken worked themselves silly to get it done, but boy oh boy, was it worth it. Here is an article that talks about the production.

That's the Joe Mello pictured...on the right.

I don't know who was credited with what, but do know that Joe Mello, Chris Finnegan, and Tennessee animated it. The puppets were done by Rob Ronning, Dan Field, Veronica Hwang, Jeanette Baity and Christopher Rabilwongse.

And Disasters! very own Roy T. Wood made the sets.
